John was an instructor in Load Planning and became a friend when I transferred to Atlanta for Delta Airlines. His gentle good humor and dry wit was calming during hectic times to keep you focused on your job when distractions were numerous. Some of the things I remember John saying was Ala-*#%*-bama, and he wasn't referring to the state. And if you asked John for advice, his one answer was "Don't bet on the number 2 dog."
He was a good soul and I pray that his family and loved ones remember all the good times that John had with us.
Praying for the Family during this time. Our family has many fond memories of John and have been blessed by having known him.
His Generosity and Love for others through the giving of his Time, Talents and Possessions are biblical principles that John lived out that spoke louder than any words.
John's dedication to his family was truly an example for us to live by.
