John Alvin was an honorable, genuine, patient and kind man. He was a great friend and a wonderful neighbor to have. I’m eternally grateful for the guidance he gave my grandson when he needed it most. My hope is that he will carry that advice, kindness that, John showed him throughout his life.

Mr. John was a good man. I remember babysitting two of his grandkids for a few hours. He made sure I knew what each one liked to eat. What they liked and didn’t like. He had it down. I think of that often. The care and consideration he had. It was precious. Watching him outside with his fur baby Gizmo. Thinking of you Mrs. Judy and family. Prayers for you all as you move forward.
