Mr. John Warren McLain, Jr.'s Obituary
\r\nFuneral service for Mr. John Warren McLain, Jr., 49, of Wetumpka and formerly of Alexander City, will be Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 1:30 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home with Rev. Bridget Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in the Taunton Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. \r\n\r\nJohnny passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Elmore Community Hospital from an extended illness of heart problems. He was born on October 20, 1960 in Orlando, Florida to John Warren McLain, Sr. and Gloria J. Taunton McLain. Johnny loved life to the fullest, always had a smile on his face, and loved his family. He was a member of St. Bede's Catholic Church. He was in business with his father as co-owner of the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Alexander City, Dadeville, Talladega, and Wetumpka for 25 years.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by three sons, Christopher Warren McLain (Tara) of Texas, John Warren "Trey" McLain, III (Brandy) of Prattville and Zachariah McLain (Brittany) of Millbrook; six grandchildren; his parents, John Warren McLain, Sr. and Gloria J. Taunton McLain of Alexander City; and sister, Martha Murphy of Alexander City; three nieces; and many special friends.\r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his sister, Carol McLain Lamb.-\r\n\r\n
