Mr. Joel Wayne Peppers' Obituary
Graveside service for Mr. Joel Wayne Peppers, 81, of Fort Walton Beach, will be Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park with Veteran’s Honors provided by the Alexander City Veterans Honor Guard. Rev. Larry Cummings will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Peppers passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Emerald Coast Center in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. He was born on April 24, 1933 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Otis Peppers and Luverne Self Peppers. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Peppers worked as a service man for Uneeda Gas Company for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Taunton Peppers of Fort Walton Beach, FL; brother, Charles Winston Peppers; sisters, Betty Jean Cooley, Louise Fuller, and Carol Dodd; and Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Geneva Evans; brothers, Edward Earl Peppers, Alton O. Peppers, and Winford Peppers.
