I didn't get to work with Joel much. However, I appreciate the dedication he had to do his best at the jobs he took on. He was a professional, but he always had a way of keeping things light hearted. I will never forget the way he could tell a story, especially his interactions with the hunting and poaching public. I know he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and co-workers.

I met Joel when he first went to work in Coosa county. Always thought of him as being a good friend. he loved his job and it showed in the work he did.
