Mrs. Joan Martin Wheeles' Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Joan Martin Wheeles, 65, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Friday, July 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Stone Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Wheeles and Pastor Brett Self will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wheeles passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 8, 1955 in Albertville, Alabama to J.T. Martin and Vivian Bobo Martin. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, hosting friends and family, eating out, and vacationing to the beach and the mountains. She was a member of Stone Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Wheeles graduated from the University of Alabama and was an avid Alabama Football fan, Roll Tide.
She is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Wheeles Fuller (Kenny); son, Chad Wheeles (Yvonne); granddaughter, Vivian Fuller; sister, Sharon Martin Mullinax (Paul); niece, Joy Johns; nephews, Justin Mullinax, Evan Mullinax (Baylie), and Justin Johns.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Lynn "Rock" Wheeles; parents; sister, Brenda Martin; and Brother, Terry Martin.
Family will accept flowers, or memorials may be made to Stone Ridge Baptist Church, 611 Airport Drive, Alexander City, AL 35010.
