Mr. Jimmy LaFayette Shirley's Obituary
Funeral service for Mr. Jimmy LaFayette Shirley, 67, of Goodwater, Alabama, will be Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hackneyville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Shirley passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at his residence. He was born on May 3, 1957 in Sylacauga, Alabama to H.B. Shirley and Josie Sherrer Shirley.
Mr. Shirley was an avid Auburn fan, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Josie Sherrer Shriely, daughter, Kayla Shirley, son, Kyle Shirley, grandchildren, Jerimiah Wages, Caulton Kenney, Noah Kenney, brother, Ricky Gaither, and sisters, Niki Gaither and Calandra (Crystal) Gaither. He was preceded in death by his father, H.B. Shirley and brother, Keith E. Shirley.
