Mr. Jimmy Foshee's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Jimmy Foshee, 79, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Foshee passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was born on June 9, 1943, in Alexander City, Alabama to Russell Aaron Foshee and Mary Elizabeth Scott Foshee. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed being on the lake and entertaining others with his colorful stories. One of his favorite hobbies was blowing leaves off of his porch on a daily basis. He was a caring man with a true servant's heart. He dedicated his life to helping others.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Foshee of Alexander City; daughters, Shana Foshee of Birmingham and Deana Foshee Carroll (Greg) of Trussville; grandchildren, Zac Keahey (Anna) and Seth Keahey both of Trussville; brothers, Scotty Foshee (Amanda) and Joe Foshee (Dolores) both of Alexander City; sister, Marylyn Foshee Brown of Alexander City; brother/uncle, Dan Scott (Linda) of Simpsonville, SC; aunts, Corrine Wright of Alexander City and Agnes Allen (Lloyd) of New Site, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
