Mr. Jimmy Lee Curlee's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Jimmy Lee Curlee, 56, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Russell Farm Baptist Church. Rev. Scott Jordan and Rev. Bobby Curlee will officiate. Burial will follow in the Russell Farms Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Russell Farm Baptist Church.
Mr. Curlee passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Russell Medical. He was born on June 17, 1965 in Alexander City, Alabama to Clarence Curlee and Betty Weldon Curlee. Jimmy was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed listening to loud music, riding his motorcycle, being on the lake and was an avid Auburn fan. He was a dare devil and loved his family very much.
He is survived by his daughter, Jema Jones of Alexander City; son, Bryan Curlee of Alexander City; grandchildren, Camila Sanchez, Keileigh Evans and Kaidence Jones; parents, Clarence and Betty Curlee of Alexander City; sisters, Brenda Cowhick (Matt) of Opelika and Debra Tapley (Alex) of Alexander City; nephews and nieces, Christopher Cowhick, Adam Cowhick, Joshua Andrew Tapley, Jennifer Nicole Sadler and Jodie Leigh Griffith; and numerous other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Claudia Weldon; grandfather, Clarence Leonard Curlee; grandmother, Dolly Mae Curlee; and former wife, Fran Curlee.
