Graveside Service for Mr. Jimmy Lee Butler, 68, of Perryville, Alabama, will be Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at Perryville Cemetery. Pastor Tony Harris will officiate.
Jimmy passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Lineville Health and Rehab. He was born on September 3, 1956 in Alamosa, Colorado to James Butler and Santana Martinez Gillum. He was a member of Perryville Baptist Church. Jimmy was a simple and happy man. He enjoyed making others laugh. He was an avid animal lover, enjoyed carving wood, being in the yard and walking. Jimmy loved his family very much and prayed for them daily.
He is survived by his son, Nathan Butler; daughter, Tabatha Todd; sister, Lia Veronica (John Earl McWhorter) Butler; brother, Marion John Butler; niece and nephews, Brittany (Corey Thornton) Butler, Justin (Tiffany) Estes, and Christopher Yates; great niece, Amberlyn Butler; and great nephews, Harlen Butler, KD Estes and Noah Estes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Mae Dean Tapley and Melinda Foremsky.
