Graveside Service for Mrs. Jewell Fomby, 99, of Alexander City, will be Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Garden of Love in New Site. Rev. Raymond Long will officiate.
Mrs. Fomby passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Brown Nursing Home. She was born on July 1, 1922 to Ben Brown and Lula Newman Brown.
She is survived by her son, Sanders Fomby (Janice) of Alexander City; grandchildren, Sandy Bishop (Richard) of Alexander City and Jill Edwards (Scotty) of Alexander City; great-grandchildren, Hunter Goodwin (Shea), Samantha Caldwell (Casey), Curtis Ward (Layla), Jessica Cassiano (Eric), Justin Bishop (Dana) and Jake Bishop; great-great-grandchildren, Marleigh, Curtis, Ally, Rory, Carter, Dane, Danika, Cameron, Karlee, and Carter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Ira Fomby.
