Jeremy Steve White, affectionately known by all as Peanut, was a beacon of joy and generosity who left an indelible mark on the hearts of those around him. Born on May 3, 1976, to Steven Floyd White and Brenda Carden White, in the warm, welcoming community of Alexander City, Alabama, he embraced life with a passion that was contagious. On February 20, 2026, at the place of his birth, Peanut concluded his inspiring journey on earth, leaving us with a legacy of laughter, love, and an abundance of cherished memories.
Peanut's life was a testament to his Christian faith, which shone brightly in his daily actions and interactions with everyone he met. He walked through life with a heart full of grace and hands ready to serve, embodying the very essence of what it means to love thy neighbor. His spirit was a guiding light that brought comfort and hope to all.
Family was the cornerstone of Peanut's world. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kelley White, who was his partner in every sense of the word, and their children, Halaina, Parker, Bain, and Kane White, who will forever carry their father's lessons and laughter in their hearts. Peanut's love overflowed to his extended family, including his niece Matilyn Tapley, nephew Urijah Tapley, his devoted mother Brenda White, and his sister April Williams, along with her family, Ronald, Hunter, Coty, Logon, and Kyle. His bond with Johnathan Norred, Jamie Machen, Richard White, and Davie Bowen was unbreakable, each one holding a special place in his life's story. Peanut was greeted in the next life by his father, Steven Floyd White, whose memory he honored every day.
Peanut's zest for life was evident in his myriad interests. He was an avid fisherman, often seen captaining the boat for the local fishing team, and his love for the outdoors extended to hunting and gardening, where he found peace and purpose. He had a knack for collecting-whether it was old cars that he restored with loving precision or baseball cards that told stories of the greats. His hands were never idle, as he found joy in building things, crafting not just objects but also building the character of those around him through his example and encouragement.
As a father, Peanut was deeply involved in his children's sports, coaching football with a spirit that motivated and uplifted. His presence on the sidelines was a source of strength and pride for his children, and his guidance helped shape not only athletes but also exemplary individuals.
Peanut's humor was a gift that he shared freely, brightening days and lightening hearts with his quick wit and infectious laughter. To describe him as funny, passionate, and generous only scratches the surface of the man who lived to make others smile.
Today, we celebrate Peanut's life, not with sorrow but with the joy he would have wanted. His story is not one of an end but a continuing legacy through the lives he touched. Let his memory be a reminder to embrace each day with the same fervor and kindness that he did. Let us honor him by living fully, laughing often, and loving without reserve. Jeremy "Peanut" White's spirit will forever be a guiding star in the lives of those who were blessed to know him. His journey on earth was a masterclass in making the most of every moment, and his memory will continue to inspire all of us to do the same.
