Mr. Jeremy Benjamin Turner's Obituary
Jeremy Benjamin Turner passed away on June 1st, 2022 from a pulmonary embolism. He was 46.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, James and Sara Ann Turner, his sister, Jennifer Turner House, Brother-in-Law Alan House and his two nieces, Ella Mae House and Sara Turner House.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Jeremy was a graduate of The Montgomery Academy, where he was a member of the Football team, as well as a member of the first Soccer team the school fielded. He was active in the Youth Choir and MYF at First United Methodist Church. He was an Eagle Scout.
Jeremy received a B.S. degree from Birmingham Southern College in Business and Finance. He was a recipient of a Presidential Honors Scholarship. At Birmingham Southern, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
Following graduation, he served as a Senior Financial Analyst/ Underwriter at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, Birmingham, Alabama. He was an Assistant Vice President at Summit America Capital in Montgomery, Alabama.
His professional journey took him to Colorado, where he worked for Diamond T. Services and for B Line Services. After the pandemic he returned home to Lake Martin where he worked for Freedom Fuels.
Jeremy embraced life and found friends in many locations throughout the United States. His caring spirit included his desire to be an organ donor, so he is still living though many who are helped by his act of kindness.
Jeremy’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 18th at The Church in the Pines, Lake Martin, Alabama, at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Fred Zeigler will officiate. Prior to that, a Celebration of Life will also be held on Sunday, June 12th in Vail Valley, Colorado.
Memorials may be given to one of Jeremy’s favorite charities, Children’s Harbor on Lake Martin, or to the charity of your choice.
