Ms. Jeanette Clayton Baker's Obituary
Funeral Service for Ms. Jeanette Clayton Baker, 69, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Cowhick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Ms. Baker passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Chapman Healthcare Center. She was born on September 26, 1952 in Alexander City, Alabama to Crandall Murphy Clayton and Ruby Inez Duke Clayton. Ms. Baker attended Russell School and was a 1971 graduate of Benjamin Russell High School. She was a member of Orr Street Baptist Church and attended Family Worship Center. Ms. Baker enjoyed singing, going to Southern Gospel Concerts, Auburn Football, playing bingo and dominoes, going on trips with the Senior Plus group, and would help anyone at anytime the best she was able to do.
She is survived by her sisters, Kaye Johnson (Billy) and Ann Clayton; cousins, Ricky and Julie Wood; special friends, Beverly Taylor, Debbie Spraggins, Pam Freeman, Linda, Sharon and Chris Davis; and family and friends at Hillabee Towers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Lee Baker and her parents.
