Mr. James Ellis Stewart's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. James Ellis Stewart, 75, of Dadeville, Alabama, will be Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Stewart passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Lake Martin Community Hospital. He was born on March 25, 1951, in Coosa County, Alabama to Stanley Vann Stewart and Leona Turner Stewart. He was a member of Dadeville Church of God.
James was a man of many adventures. He loved his music, his food and swinging on the front porch. He was loved by many and he loved everyone. He was a man of God and loved going to church if the doors were open, he was there.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Rita Stewart; brothers, Jerome Stewart, Wendell Stewart; caregivers, Pat, and Jay Jones; several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Richard, Travis, Lewis, and Van Stewart, Willie Bailey, Louise Canady, Ruth Stewart and niece, Stacey Stewart.
