Graveside Memorial Service for Mr. James Lawson Speakes, 58, of Alexander City, Alabama will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Russell Farm Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Speakes passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Russell Medical. He was born on October 12, 1963 in Alexander City, Alabama to James Roy Speakes and Myrtle Hilda Self Speakes. Mr. Speakes enjoyed the simple things in life and being able to do what he could. He enjoyed going fishing, watching Alabama football, and vegetable gardening.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Sue Speakes; brother, Ronnie L. Speakes (Malinda); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Kay Foster; and brother, Roy Wade Speakes.
