Mr. James Aaron Hardin Sr.'s Obituary
Graveside Service for Mr. James Aaron Hardin Sr., 76, of Jacksons Gap, will be Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Rev. Steve Strange will officiate.
Mr. Hardin passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at residence. He was born on November 17, 1944, in Jefferson County to Richard Thomas Hardin and Mary Helen Chafin Hardin. He graduated from Banks High School in 1963 where he lettered in both football and marching band.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Diane Hardin of Jacksons Gap; daughter, Tonya Hardin Yarchak (Michael) of Hoover; son, James Aaron Hardin, Jr. (Cynthia) of Auburn; grandchildren, Malori Harry (Taylor), Meagan Yarchak, Alex Yarchak, Hunter Hardin, Aaron Hardin, Bella Hardin, Catherine Garrett, and Will Garrett; great-grandchild, Scarlett Harry; sisters, Becky Roberson (Roger) of Auburn and Jean Atkins (Terry) of Deatsville; and brother, Rick Hardin (Christy) of Mentone.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family requests no flowers. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Flint Hill United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
