Mr James Ralph Farmer's Obituary
Mr. Farmer passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Russell Medical. He was born on July 3, 1939, in Dublin, Virginia to Roy Emory Farmer and Mary Belle Largen Farmer.
Known as "Booty" to his family and "Farmer" to his friends, he was larger than life and quite a character who knew how to spin stories of his adventures from his travels across the U.S. Farmer was also known as a master wheeler/dealer, always working on some project even up until the time of his death. Even though he was a tough dealmaker, he could also be kind and generous to others in need. He also had a great love for all animals, especially his dogs. To all who knew him, he will be missed.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Louise Farmer, and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Farmer; parents; three sisters, and one brother.
