Mr. James Daniel Edgell's Obituary
Mr. James Daniel "J.D." Edgell, 64, of Equality, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his residence. He was born on January 14, 1958 in Wiesbaden, Germany to the late Mr. James Edgell and Mrs. Danielle Boulangier Edgell. He was a volunteer firefighter for the city of Equality and in Texas as a part of the Hurricane Relief team. J.D worked as a commercial fisherman before becoming a carpenter. He was known as an honorable and hard-working man who loved his family more than anything.
J.D. is survived by his daughter, Marie Edgell of Alexander City; former wife and best friend, Sharon Crausbay of Richwood, TX; grandchildren, Tyler Shannon, Tyson Shannon, Bryleigh Carver; and sister, Jacqueline Klein (Wayne) of Equality.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
