Funeral service for Mr. James E. “Jimmy” Livingston, 84, of Alexander City, will be Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Waldrop and Pastor James Burkhalter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kellyton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home. \r\n\r\nMr. Livingston passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on August 21, 1925 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Claude N. Livingston and Alma Webb Livingston. Mr. Livingston loved going to church. He enjoyed listening to gospel music, working puzzle books, traveling and watching football. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his daughter, Sheila Lyles (Randy) of Alexander City; sons, Douglas Livingston of Nashville and Roger Livingston (Susanne) of Pooler, GA; grandchildren, Jimmy Livingston, Steven Livingston (Ashley), Alex Livingston, Marcus Livingston, Deidre Smith (Michael), Keshia Peters (Justin), Candice Lyles and Jessica McCain; great-grandchildren, Zebrina Livingston, Zekalya Livingston, Zeranda Livingston, Garrett Livingston, Elijah Smith, Kelsey Lyles, Cameron McCain, Brittany McCain and Holley McCain.\r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeanell Burkhalter Livingston; grandchild, Devin Baird; and brothers, Hershel Livingston and Albert Livingston.\r\n
