Mr. James "Jamie" Dunaway's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. James "Jamie" Dunaway, 52, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Tony Harris will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem-New Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Dunaway passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at his residence. He was born on January 25, 1969, in Alexander City, Alabama to Richard Arlin Dunaway and Sandra Perry Dunaway. He attended Family Worship Center. Jamie enjoyed restoring and painting old vehicles and he also enjoyed gardening. He was a good man who loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid Braves fan and Alabama football fan.
He is survived by his sisters, Lisa Dunaway, Misty Dunaway; nieces, Amber Hill (Rodney Freeman), Skye Walls; nephew, Ricki Walls; grandniece, Lenna Garrett; grandnephew, Bentley Mathis and friend Larry Scroggins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard "Ricky" Dunaway.
