Mrs. Jackie Walker's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Jackie Walker, 78, of Daviston, will be Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Daviston Methodist Church. Bro. Ray Dunn and Rev. Bennie Lee Yates will officiate. Burial will follow in the Daviston Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 15, 1944 in Tifton, Georgia. She was a member of Daviston Methodist Church. Jackie retired from Russell Corp after working there for over 30 years. She loved working in her yard, planting and tending to flowers. Jackie was an avid bird watcher, collecting many hummingbird figurines. She enjoyed watching old westerns at home in her spare time. After her retirement, she devoted all her time to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie loved her family, her grandchildren were her life, and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Cotney (James) of Dadeville and Tina Morris (Wyatt) of Lafayette; grandchildren, Brandon Looser, Amanda Looser, Loretta Homesly, and Tyler Walker; great-grandchildren, Bransley Looser, Carissa Looser, Khloe Looser, Annalyn Looser, and Maycee Walker; sister, Sandra Berry (Asa); brothers, Gary Lewis and Billy Lewis (Tina).
She was preceded in death by her husband, James John Walker; mother, Cora Lewis; ; sister, Linda Glass; and brother, Bobby Lewis.
