Memorial Service for Jack Edward Kemp, 67, of Alexander City, will be Friday, November 24, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Albert Pike will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Kemp passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Russell Medical. He was born on July 4, 1950 in Gadsden, Alabama to Edgar Eli Kemp and Audrey Barnes Kemp. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran, member of River Road Baptist Church, loved his Lord and Savior, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Alabama Football, helping others, and also was a self employed contractor that enjoyed working with his hands and always enjoyed his birthday of the 4th of July.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Kemp of Alexander City; daughter, Sabrina Kemp of Alexander City; sons, Charles Kemp(Lynn) of Alexander City and Jeffrey Kemp(Megan) of Ocean Springs, MS; grandson, Larry(Montana), granddaughter, Nikki, granddaughter, Kaci, granddaughter, Lana, grandson, Kyle, granddaughter, Candace, grandson, Charleston, granddaughter, Kaylee, granddaughter, Konalee; great-granddaughter, Savannah, great-grandson, Kannon Jack; sister, Glenda Gale Guelde of Orange Beach; brothers, David Kemp of Athens, AL and Jimmy Godwin of TN; and a host of nieces and nephews,
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Imajean Langston and a brother, Chuck Kemp.
