Hugh Dale McIntyre's Obituary
Hugh Dale McIntyre, known as Dale to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, at the age of 60. Born on February 8, 1964, Dale lived a life marked by humor, and an uncanny ability to fix just about anything.
He was a father to his sons, Cody Dale McIntyre (Stephanie) of Alexander City, AL, and Seth Daniel McIntyre (Miranda) of Calera, AL. and grandchildren Daniel Kade McIntyre and Kalissa Grace Thompson, whose achievements and adventures brought him immeasurable joy.
He was the beloved brother of Donna McIntyre. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Dee McIntyre, and mother, Maggie Sue McIntyre, who instilled in him the virtues of hard work and compassion.
Professionally, Dale was a highly skilled mechanic, a trade that suited his natural talent for understanding the intricacies of machines and his desire to help others by keeping their vehicles and equipment in top condition.
Those who knew Dale will remember him as the man who could always be called upon when something needed fixing. Whether it was a stubborn engine or a friend in need of comfort. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for the warmth and light he brought into the world.
As we say goodbye to Dale, we celebrate the time we had with him and the countless ways he enriched our lives. His spirit, characterized by his handiness, humor, and friendliness, will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Hugh Dale McIntyre was a man who made the world a better place simply by being in it, and his memory will be cherished forever.
