Hoyt was a fraternity brother in my pledge class of Delta Tau Delta. I will always remember Hoyt as a wonderful young man, his head swaying in time to the music of our times in the Delt basement, and his many kindnesses to me at Carlisle Drug and my wife of Alex City, Mary Duncan Finch.
