Funeral Service for Mr. Gregory Lynn Bishop, 58, of New Site, Alabama, will be Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the New Salem Baptist Church. Rev. Tom Drake and Rev. Larry Cummings will officiate. Burial will follow in the Read Obituary
My favorite part of growing up was at hog mountain where I was a neighbor and friend to Greg it was hard for two young boys growing up with nothing to do but we always found a way to have fun riding bikes together and playing hide and seek with our sisters but playing with the girls was not enough we had to explore the world so it is no telling how many miles we put on those bikes we had to work on all the time I wish we would of had fix-flat back then You will be missed your friend Tige
Growing up at hog mountain you had to find things to do when it was only two young boys with a lot of energy it is no telling how many miles we put on bikes that we had put together from other bikes that we had destroyed from all the hill jumping and trail riding we had done in our young life’s being neighbors and friends. Some of my favorite childhood memories where with Greg. I bet we hunted up and down every hill and fished every Creek around Cowpens. Rest in peace my dear cousin. You will be greatly missed.
Mr.Gerg was a great man who loved the Lord and has help so much with my grandsons Lee and John Thomas we will miss you so much
