Funeral Services for Mrs. Glenda Milam Walters, 77, of Alexander City, Alabama will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 3:30 pm in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Glenda Milam Walters, beloved wife, mother and friend died Sunday December 28, 2025, in Alexander City, Alabama. She was born on December 28, 1948, in Alexander City, Alabama to Arnold “Butterbean” Milam and Helen Stephens Vickers. Glenda graduated from Benjamin Russell High School. She and her husband Ronnie operated Ronnie Walters Service Center for over forty years. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her dachshund, Marley. She was known for her kindness and loving nature.
Glenda is survived by her cherished husband of 58 years, Ronnie Thomas Walters, son Shannon (Crystal) Walters, brother Mark (Susan) Vickers, several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Whatley and beloved Dachshund, Missy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Lake Martin Animal Shelter, 2502 Sugar Creek Road, Alexander City, AL, 35010.
