Mr. Gibson Bence Kimbrough's Obituary
The Celebration of Life for Mr. Gibson Bence Kimbrough, 81, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Chase Clower will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Kimbrough passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at his residence. He was born on July 3, 1944, in New Site, Alabama, to Keener Patterson Kimbrough and Alethia Mae Gibson Kimbrough. He was an active member of Hillabee Baptist Church. Gibson retired from the Russell Corporation after working for forty-three years. Gibson also retired from his own business that he started in 1997, Kimbrough Lawn Service.
He is survived by his children, Douglas and Katie Kimbrough, Johnny W. Kimbrough, and Danna Marie Kimbrough; stepdaughter, Farrah Kaviratna; grandchildren, Charlie Kimbrough, Avy Heard, Brooklyn Kimbrough, and Kayla Wideman; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Wideman and Jax Wideman; brother, James Kimbrough of Troy, Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Keener Kimbrough, Jr.; and sisters, Barbara Kimbrough, Betty Kimbrough Burgess, and Gloria Kimbrough Lynn.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Hillabee Baptist Church, 1781 Hialeah Circle, Alexander City, AL 35010, or one's favorite charity.
