Mr. Gerald Dean Fuller's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Gerald Dean Fuller, 79, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Don Ward will officiate. Burial will follow in the Russell Farm Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Fuller passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at his residence. He was born on September 5, 1946, in Alexander City, Alabama to JD Fuller and Pauline Colley Fuller. He was an active member of Russell Farm Baptist Church.
Gerald retired from Avondale Mills after 36 years of faithful service. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing but wanted no part of cleaning them. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and spending time with his family. Gerald held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and spent numerous hours attending sporting activities to support them. He enjoyed teaching his two nephews the skills of hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy L. Fuller; sisters-in-law, Katherine Walls and Sarah Fuller; brother-in-law, James (Louise) Akin; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepparents, Paul Fuller and Susie Fuller; sister, Joyce Ann Fuller; brothers, Byron, Kenneth and Melvin Fuller; five nephews and sister-in-law, Daisy Lamberth.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to the wonderful care Enhabit Home Health and Hospice care gave to their loved one.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Russell Farms Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1037 Wind Creek Farm Road, Alexander City, AL, 35010.
