Mr. Gary Steven Adair's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Gary Steven Adair, 84, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Monday, July 20, 2026, at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Adair passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at his residence. He was born on August 4, 1941, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Edgar Adair and Kathleen Dison Adair. He was Christian by faith and a long-time member of Hepzibah Baptist Church in Talladega County. He made several trips with Carpenters for Christ.
Gary was a 1959 graduate of Talladega High School. He retired from Garing Business Machines in Talladega. Gary loved to fish, be outside and work in the yard. He served eight years in the National Guard.
He is survived by his partner of 31 years, Debra K. Jones; son, Matthew Adair; grandson, Cash Adair; brothers, Hoyt (Cookie) Adair, Jerry (Debbie) Adair; sister, Kathy (David) McKenzie; three nieces; two nephews; three great nieces, and four great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family wishes to express a sincere “Thank You” to the wonderful staff of Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for the excellent care they provided to their loved one.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hepzibah Baptist Church, 5329 Renfroe Road, Talladega, AL, 35160 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
