Frank Wilmot Moon Jr.'s Obituary
Graveside Service for Mr. Frank Wilmot Moon Jr., 84, of Alexander City, will be Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park. Randy Anderson will officiate.
Mr. Moon passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his residence. He was born on May 18, 1939 to Frank Wilmot Moon, Sr. and Guesna Neighbors Moon. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Frank was a family man. He enjoyed working outside on his farm and in his garden. A skilled electronic technician, Frank was able to fix any electronic device and was glad to help his neighbors with any problems they had. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Mae Moon of Alexander City; daughter, Audrey E. Moore of Alexander City; sons, John R. Moon of Elmore and David B. Moon (Tanya) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Christian Moon (Allison) of Atlanta, GA, Damian Moon of Shreveport, LA, Amber Moon of Elmore, and Jasmine Moon of Clanton; and sister, Patricia Fox of Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linnie Comerford.
The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to one's local volunteer fire department in Mr. Moon's memory.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Enhabit Home Health, Enhabit Hospice, as well as Ms. Netarsha Whetstone and the staff of As Close As Family for the loving and dedicated care.
