Mr. Frank Edmond Korb's Obituary
Frank Edmond Korb, a beacon of faith and creativity, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born to William E Korb Sr. and Constance Korb, Frank was a guiding light to all who knew him. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Karen Korb of Wedowee, AL, and his beloved children and stepchildren, Amy (Stephen) Wiley, Eric (Roulain) Harrell, Jenifer Roe, and Kathryn (Brian) Jones. Frank's role as a grandfather was one he held dear, and he will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Jasmine (Jared) York, Taylor Pemberton, Hayden Harrell, Hannah Ruth (Jayce) Lovelady, and Amelia Wiley, as well as his great-grandchild, Brooklyn Dassaro. His sister, Ann (Richard) Uhl, and brother, Bill (Kathy) Korb, along with numerous nieces and nephews, will forever hold Frank in their hearts.
Frank's life was marked by his 15 years of dedicated service as a pastor for the United Methodist Church. His spiritual leadership at Waverly, Rock Mills, Bethlehem Campground, and Mineral Springs United Methodist Church left an indelible impact on countless lives. His faith-filled approach to life was evident in every sermon he delivered and every life he touched.
Beyond his ministry, Frank was a man of many interests and talents. He was an avid Florida Seminoles fan, showing his support with the same enthusiasm he brought to all aspects of his life. His hands were rarely still, as he found joy and peace in scroll saw woodwork and diamond art painting. These creative pursuits were not just hobbies but also expressions of his intricate and artistic spirit.
Frank's character was the epitome of someone who was both handy and creative. He could fix almost anything and often did so for friends, family, and church members. His ability to envision and bring to life beautiful creations was a gift that he generously shared with those around him.
As we bid farewell to Frank Edmond Korb, we celebrate a life that was rich in love, faith, and service. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, just as his presence once did. Frank's journey on Earth may have ended, but the story of his life will continue to be told by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
