Funeral Service for Ms. Frances Elizabeth Clanton, 82, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 11:30 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Andy Kinman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery - Buttston. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Frances Elizabeth Kinman Clanton, a beacon of love and laughter, passed away surrounded by the warmth of her family's love. Born into the nurturing arms of Jesse Mason Kinman and Larosser Kinman, Frances blossomed into a life marked by caring, humor, and a vivacious spirit that touched everyone she knew.Frances is lovingly remembered by her children, Pamela Rowan (Roger) of Dadeville, AL, Rita C. Taylor (David), and Don Clanton, who were the pride of her life. Her legacy continues to shine brightly through her grandchildren, Kristy Teaster (Michael), Kelly Evers (Matt), Blair Gilliland (Mark), Chris Clanton, Holley Johnson (Andy), Tess Clanton, Dylan Clanton (Kelce), Summer Morris (Dustin), and Lucas Clanton. The joy of her sixteen great-grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her boundless affection and playful spirit, cannot be overstated.
Frances also leaves behind her devoted brother, Tommy Kinman of Daviston, AL, and her sister, Darlene Yates, who share in the family's sorrow and celebration of her life. She was a cherished sister and Nanny, a title she wore with honor and delight. Her daughter-in-law, Josie Clanton, also holds dear the memory of Frances, who welcomed her into the family with open arms.Her journey preceded in death by her father, Jesse Mason Kinman, mother, Larosser Kinman, and her sons, David Lamar Clanton and Dale Kinman Clanton. They were the first to greet her with loving embraces as she entered into eternal rest.Frances's passion for life was evident in the simple pleasures she cherished. Her garden was a testament to her nurturing soul, with each bloom reflecting the care and attention she bestowed upon them. Her laughter often filled the room as she enjoyed episodes of "Gunsmoke" and "Reba," her favorite television shows that mirrored her love for spirited storytelling and humor.
