Mrs. Faye W. Walker's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Faye W. Walker, 72, of Alexander City, Alabama, will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. John Hill will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on October 9, 1949, in Alexander City, Alabama to Leverne Weldon and Evelyn T. Tate Weldon. She was an active member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church. Faye was a loving, kind, generous wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family said she was an excellent cook, even though she would disagree with that, and enjoyed baking for them. She enjoyed watching the I Love Lucy show and more recently the new Hawaii Five-O.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kenny Walker; daughter, Kellie Jordan (William); granddaughters, Tiffani Dowdy (Trey), Madison Jordan; great-grandson, James A. Dowdy; brother, John Weldon (Paula); nieces and nephews, Crystal Royster (Thad), Casey Hellums (James), Rebecca Hutcherson (Sheldon), Jerry Hooks (Krissy), Cathy Hooks, Lynn Walker, Gary Walker; brother in law, James Walker (Liz) and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
