Aunt Luda was a special person. I will always remember her smile and good hugs. Greatest sympathy is sent to her family who are left here, but may they have the comfort to know that some day they will see her again in a much better place. Love to all of Aunt Luda's big family and loving friends.
I have great memories of Luda from when we were "Number Please? girls working at what was then Southern Bell on the second floor of a building on the corner of S Main and MLK Drive - across from the square in Tuskegee back in the late 1950's. Luda was always helpful to the customers and to me with learning how to be a telephone operator. She was always patient and kind. She taught being Christian by her everyday demeanor. She was a wonderful woman and I can still see her smiling face and her lovely voice. Fran Copeland
