Mrs. Elizabeth Neighbors Jackson's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Elizabeth Neighbors Jackson, 99, of Hoover, will be Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at her residence. She was born on July 22, 1923 in Tallapoosa County to Oliver Porch Neighbors and Hester Viola Joyner Neighbors. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. She was a Sunday School teacher for over 40 years, where she taught children's classes and later the adult ladies class. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and reading her Bible.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Miller of Birmingham; grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer D. Miller (Thomas Kimbrell) of Jasper and Janet Leigh Skotnicki (Michael) of Homewood.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Eddrell Jackson; son, Barry Eddrell Jackson; sisters, Garnell Saxon and Jane Barber; brothers, Calvin Holloway Neighbors and Kendall Neighbors.
