Elaine Reaves' Obituary
A Visitation for Elaine Reaves, 56, of Alexander City, Alabama will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Elaine was a beacon of warmth and selflessness and departed our world on April 19, 2024. Born on January 18, 1968, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, Elaine lived a life marked by love, kindness, and a profound commitment to her family. Her journey came to a peaceful close in Alexander City, Alabama, surrounded by the love of her family and the memories of a life well-lived.
Elaine was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer (Darrius) Reaves, and her sons, Jeffery (Lacey) Reaves and Brandon (Stephanie) Pike. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Easton McDaniel, Kaidyn Pike, and Jackson Reaves, as well as many other bonus children and grandchildren who were blessed to know her as "NaNa" and several nieces and nephews.
Her siblings, Tommie (Mott) Pike and Tammy (Bobby) Hudson, fondly recall Elaine's enduring compassion and generosity. She was greeted in the next life by her late parents, Geraldine and Walter Pike, and her siblings, Sally Johns and Bodie Pike, who preceded her in death.
Elaine's passions were as rich as her personality. She was an avid fan of Alabama Football and found solace in the simple pleasure of a good cup of coffee. She enjoyed watching television shows like NCIS, The Walking Dead, Chicago PD, and Blue Bloods. In the kitchen, Elaine was unrivaled; her peanut butter cookies and banana pudding were legendary among friends and family.
Above all, Elaine was defined by her loving, selfless, and thoughtful nature. She left a lasting impact on everyone she met by always lending a helping hand. Elaine's radiant presence will be profoundly missed, though her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will be cherished and celebrated for generations to come.
