Dr. Hill gave me my career beginning by hiring me through the old Civilian Conservation Corp program from after WW 2. I worked with Dr. Hill on various trapping research projects along with wildlife projects with the Auburn Veterinary School. Because of him I have had a very satisfactory wildlife career!!! We both ended up in Tallapoosa Co. Where his mentorship and friendship continued to be a god given blessing to me. May he rest in peace until we meet again.
I was so thankful Uncle Ed and family lived in town during my first few years of college at Auburn. I remember stopping by his office on campus to say hi. It was great seeing relatives since my parents had moved to Ohio.
I also remember great times in the summer at the lake house!
I am praying for you Aunt Margaret, Eddie, Tom, Ellen , and Virginia.
