Mrs Edith Ann Mayo Gordon's Obituary
The family will hold a memorial service on March 1, 2025 beginning at 3:00 pm at Lifepoint Church, 506 Legacy Drive, Smyrna, TN, 37167, building D. They will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church.
Mrs. Gordon passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Adams Health and Rehab. She was born on November 21, 1944, in Nashville, Tennessee to Millard Filmore Mayo and Ruth Edith Davis Mayo. She attended Hillabee Baptist Church with her daughter and family.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jeffery Brent Gordon; daughter, Rebecca (David) Hutto; son, John (Ashley) Gordon; grandchildren, John Gordon, Jr., Sam Gordon, Sadie Gordon, Deacon Gordon, David Gordon, Natalie Gordon, Gracie (Devin) Capell, Jackson Hutto, Taylor Hutto and great-grandchild, Merrin Capell.
Edith was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Millard Filmore Mayo, Jr. and nephew, Michael Kevin Mayo.
