Mr. Earl Cleveland Lawson's Obituary
Earl Lawson, 84, of Alexander City, AL passed away at the Bill Nichols State Veterans Home of natural causes. Earl was born in Lanark, West "by God" Virginia to Carrie and Mayo Lawson. Earl joined the Army and served in Germany. After his service he attended 4 years of Columbus College while serving his community as a law enforcements officer. Upon graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice, Earl and his family moved to Douglasville, GA, and he began his career with the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary.
Earl was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Lawson, his beloved son Douglas Lawson and his treasured granddaughter Jullian Amber Lawson.
Earl is survived by his sister Juanita Henrich and family, brother David Lawson and family, daughter Karen Kellar and family, son Kenny Lawson and family and son Ethan Lawson and family. Earl is also survived by many cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Earl was a devout Christian and will be missed by many church families.
