He was a collector at heart, with a particular passion for coins, each piece representing a story and a memory. Dwight's love for the Lord was evident in all that he did, guiding him through life's journey with grace and humility. He also found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as enjoying a meal at Who's Diner, where he was a beloved patron and friend to many.

His brother, Don Rice; sister, Toni Stanick; and aunt, Alice Williamson, also survive him. Dwight's life was enriched by the love and laughter of his extended family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Preceding him in death were his father, Howard Rice; his mother, Evelyn Rice; and his sisters, Mary Shelley and Linda Golden. They have now welcomed him into eternal rest, where he is undoubtedly sharing his humor and warmth.
