Douglas Cooper Moody Jr.'s Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Douglas Cooper Moody, Jr., 39, of Hackneyville, Alabama, will be Monday, October 23, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Bro. Roger Green will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Radney Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Wingler, Talmadge East, Mitch Kendrick, Bryan Lucas, Neil Moseley, and Daniel Moseley.
Cooper passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born on August 26, 1984 in Sylacauga, Alabama to Kristi Hammock Moody and Douglas Cooper Moody. Cooper was a skilled carpenter and had a passion for building. He enjoyed training and riding horses, fishing, hunting, coon hunting, and anything to do with the creek.
He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Kristi Moody; sister, Meredith Wingler (Michael); and niece, Margaret Ann Wingler.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Moody, Sr. and Margaret and Donnie Hammock.
