Funeral Service for Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Johns Futral, 94, of Goodwater, Alabama, will be Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 9:00 am at the New Providence Baptist Church. Tim Green will officiate. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8,2023 from 8:00 am to 9:00 am at New Providence Baptist Church.
Mrs. Futral passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at her residence. She was born on March 25, 1929, in Clay County, Alabama to George Washington Johns and Tina Grogan Johns. She was a lifetime member of New Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, James Roger Futral (Sharon Leigh) of Sylacauga; daughter, Judy Futral Voss (Eddie) of Goodwater; grandchildren, Krystal Futral Davis, James Ryan Futral, Rachel Nicole Futral, and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Rae, and Emma Grace Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Edson Futral; parents and ten brothers and sisters.
