Mr Donald Russell Yarbrough's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mr. Donald Russell Yarbrough, 76, of Goodwater, Alabama, will be Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Bro. Neal Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hackneyville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Yarbrough passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at his residence. He was born on February 24, 1949, in Alexander City, Alabama to Vernon Wayne Yarbrough and Rosie Lee Johnson Yarbrough. He was an active member of Ray Community Church.
Donald enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing with his children. He was a loving family man.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Yarbrough; sons, Kayson Yarbrough, James (Kristal) Yarbrough; daughter, Donna (Jeremy) Mills; stepson, Jerry Lynn Melton; brother, Thomas Yarbrough and Charles Edward Yarbrough; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Bluford Ringo Melton; siblings, Earl Yarbrough, Glenda Nelson, Edna Davis, Robert Yarbrough, Charles Vernon Yarbrough and Harold Yarbrough.
