Ms Cindy and Jerrica,
I met Dennis for the first time over 40 years ago in a fishing tournament. Come to find out we had some mutual friends in the Valley so occasionally I would see him outside of bass fishing. We both were part of a group of men who shared a few days together at Lake Martin in early October every year, 38 years in a row for me. Dennis started before I got invited. We shared a lot of good memories on those trips over the years. Good food, good times and good friends.
You two need to know Dennis loved you both. When I would ask about you two when I saw him in October i better have my beverage of choice in my hand as it was going to take a while to tell me how happy he was and how proud he was of you both.
Cindy, we have never met that I recall, but you make some wonderful pies. I blame you for about ten pounds of my total weight. Thank you for sharing your pies. They are delicious.
There is nothing I can say to remove the pain you must feel at this time. I understand Dennis has had a rough couple of months. Take comfort in the fact that he is in a better place, his suffering is no more and his body is whole again. He is watching out after you both and still loves you.
He was full of good stories and he will be missed. I promise you he will be remembered on our trip to the lake this fall.
God bless you both and may peace and understanding rest in your heart.
