"Last night, we said goodbye to a remarkable woman, a beloved mother-in-law who welcomed me into her family with open arms and an open heart. She was the kind of person who brought joy and warmth to every room, and her love for life was contagious.
Her spirit was as bright as the sunrises and sunsets in Destin, FL, where we shared unforgettable Thanksgiving memories including midnight shopping for Black Friday deals (she got 2 pair of shoes). And her smile was as sweet as the peach and coconut rum Jell-O shots that I would make for every holiday - it became a tradition.
Her spirit, kindness, and unwavering support have left an indelible mark on our lives. As we remember her, let's celebrate the love she shared, the family she cherished, and the countless lives she touched. We may have lost her from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Rest in peace, dear Delores (I always misspelled it as Deloris). Your legacy of love, laughter, and the kind embrace of family will forever be a beacon for us all." -Adam Fralich
