Debra Jean Tapley's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mrs. Debra Jean Tapley, 61, of Alexander City, will be Friday, December 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Garden of Love. Rev. Bobby Curlee and Rev. Scott Jordan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tapley passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at her residence. She was born on May 14, 1962 in Tallapoosa County to Clarence Junior Curlee and Betty Sue Weldon Curlee. She was a 1980 graduate of New Site High School. Debra used to go hunting and fishing with her husband. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Alex Tapley of Alexander City; children, Joshua Andrew Tapley (Katie) of Alexander City, Jennifer Sadler (Trenton) of Jacksonville, and Jodie Griffith (Brett) of Alexander City; father, Clarence Junior Curlee of Ourtown; grandchildren, Leah Griffith, Elijah Griffith, Aryn Tapley, and Everleigh Sadler; and sister, Brenda Cowhick (Matt) of Beauregard.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Sue Curlee; and brother, Jimmy Curlee.
