Mrs. Debra Ann Fuller's Obituary
Funeral Service for Mrs. Debra Ann Fuller, 72, of Alexander City, will be Friday, March 27, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Randy Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fuller passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026. She was born in Alexander City on October 30, 1953 to Roy E. Smith and Shirley Sharpe Campbell. Debra worked for many years at Russell Mills and formed numerous lasting friendships. She also had a deep love for her canine companions, especially her cherished "Boy Dog"; Her pets were not merely animals but members of her family. As we bid farewell, Debra will be remembered for her radiant smile, her infectious laughter, and the generosity and support she showed to everyone around her.
She is survived by her son, Ricky (Lacey) Haynes of Huntsville; grandchildren, Channing (James) DeLoach of Trussville and Emma Haynes of Huntsville; great-grandchild, Cyrus Dekle DeLoach of Trussville; sisters, Rita (Todd) McKelvey and Shirlene (Chris) Baker both of Alexander City; brother, Jamie (Connie) Campbell of Kellyton; daughters, Valerie (Karl) Dunlap of Falkville, Dana Moulton of South Carolina, and Robin Rogers of Florence; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Prestridge; son, Mark David Smith; and brother, Gene Smith.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at Chapman's Nursing Home and Enhabit Hospice for their compassionate and loving care of Debra.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Lake Martin Humane Society, 2502 Sugar Creek Rd. Alexander City, AL 35010.
