Mr. David Jason "Bulldog" Sword's Obituary
Memorial Service for Mr. David Jason “Bulldog” Sword, 43, of Phenix City, will be Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Montgomery, Alabama.
Mr. Sword passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Lake Martin Community Hospital. He was born on June 7, 1978 in Houston, Texas to David Blythe and Gena Sword. Jason was a movie fanatic and enjoyed playing video games and shooting guns. He was a wonderful cook and loved fixing Mexican cuisine. Jason never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. For many years, he was a tow truck driver and then started driving an18 wheeler over the road. Jason was a prankster and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Jason is survived by his sons, Tyler Sword (Nicole) of Phenix City; Dylan Sword (Hailey) of Montgomery; daughters, Shelby Sword, Bailey Sword and MacKenzie Sword, all of Phenix City; grandchildren, Grayson Sword and Chase Sword; adopted mother, Lynda Coates of Montgomery; and former spouse, Stephanie Sword of Phenix City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
