Mr. David Michael Story's Obituary
Graveside Service for Mr. David Michael Story, 64, of Alexander City, will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park. Rev. Rickey Talley and Father Peter Reddy will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.
Mr. Story passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Russell Medical. He was born on March 26, 1957 in Alexander City, Alabama to Lewis Damon Story and Bobbie Jo Channell Story. He was an active member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Auburn University. He also had a degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta. He was an avid reader, loved genealogy, had a true appreciation for art and loved movies. He was a college professor and taught at several colleges around the state. He was also a freelance writer for several different magazines and author of one book, “America on the Re-run”.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Jo Story; sisters, Diane Dameron (Scott) and Debbie Story; and nephew, Dylan Dameron all of Marietta, GA and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Damon Story.
